FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the planning process work?+

Once you submit an inquiry, we'll connect by email to schedule a complimentary video consultation. During our call, we'll discuss your vision, preferred location, package options, and answer any questions you may have.

After the consultation, we'll email you a contract for review and sign. To officially reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and a 50% retainer payment are required.

The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding date.

For weddings booked within 14 days of the ceremony date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Once your date is secured, we'll guide you through the remaining details and planning process, ensuring your wedding experience is beautiful, stress-free, and tailored to your vision.

How far in advance should we book?+

We recommend reserving your date 4–9 months ahead. For peak season Saturdays (May–October), earlier is better.

Can we bring our own vendors?+

Absolutely. While our preferred vendor network is part of what makes the process effortless, we welcome trusted vendors you've already chosen.

Do you handle marriage license requirements?+

Yes — we'll walk you through the local marriage license process and timeline for your destination.

What's the deposit and payment schedule?+

A 50% retainer is required to reserve your date and time. The remaining 50% will be due two weeks before the ceremony date. For weddings booked less than two weeks from the ceremony date, full payment will be required to book.

What forms of payment do you accept?+

For retainer and final payment we accept Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle. Cash tips for vendors are accepted and appreciated.

Can we customize a package?+

Every package is a starting point. We're happy to add or swap elements to match your vision.

Do you plan vow renewals?+

Yes — vow renewals are some of our favorite ceremonies, and any package can be adapted.

What's your weather contingency?+

Our ceremonies take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we closely monitor forecasts and, when possible, may recommend a slight adjustment to the ceremony time to avoid passing showers and provide the best possible experience.

If rain is expected during the ceremony, umbrellas can be incorporated as needed, and your wedding will proceed as planned. Some of our most romantic and memorable celebrations have taken place beneath a few raindrops.

In the rare event that weather conditions become severe enough to risk damage to photography equipment or compromise safety, the ceremony itself will still take place as scheduled, but the photography portion may be postponed. Should this occur, we will provide a photography session of equal duration at the same location on a mutually agreed-upon future date at no additional cost.

Our goal is to ensure that, regardless of the weather, your wedding day remains beautiful, meaningful, and stress-free.
